An area of showers and thunderstorms has developed across north-central Kansas this morning. Cloud cover from these thunderstorms has overspread the area, and will keep temperatures in check today. While rain chances this afternoon will be the greatest to the west and southwest of Kansas City, I can’t rule out rain for everyone in the metro area.
